Stay with us

Here at The Lizard and Penrose when it comes to accommodation we've got all bases covered.

Camping:

Sea views at Teneriffe Farm Campsite, near Mullion
We own and run Teneriffe Farm Campsite near Mullion, it's ideally located for walking (yards from the SWCP), visiting the spectacular local beaches or just taking it easy and enjoying the sea views from a deck chair. We have 20 pitches in our main field 14 with electric hook-up and we have an overflow field for the busier months. We cater for everything from small tents to Winnebagos on our quiet site, we have a wash block with shower and washing up facilities and a children's play area and we allow well behaved dogs onsite. We are also the most southerly site now offering camping pods, so if you don't want to risk having a wet tent to dry out at the end of your trip but you still want to experience the adventure of camping come and stay in one. Click here for information or call 01326 240293 for information and bookings.

The bunk house:

If you want to upgrade from camping but don't want to break the bank we've got a bunk house on the edge of Penrose that sleeps 16. Ideal for large gatherings of families and friends we have 2 dorm rooms with 7 bunks in each and a twin to offer from as little as £9 a night per person.

The bunk house is very close to the South West Coast Path and there is plenty to do from the site with access to Penrose and Loe Bar, an award winning local pub within walking distance, farm trails on the door step and some popular local beaches within a mile.
Chyvarloe bunk house, Penrose
The bunk house was an old barn and cow shed complex and has been modernised and updated recently whilst maintaining the feeling of being in a barn with exposed beams and even the names of the old cows still chalked onto the woodwork. We provide hot water via our solar and wood burning heating system to new modern shower rooms. The dorms are located to two separate stories and the twin room is located via the courtyard. There is also a boot/drying room and a kit store for bikes, surfboards and other kit you might want to bring.

Whilst we don't have a television we do have a ping pong table to keep you entertained and we also have great links to activity companies so if you want to try something new we can offer various exciting activities through our ambassador businesses locally.
